ARK Caught Red-Handed

Updates

March 4, 2011 5:12 PM

Fellow citizens of Palm City, I have found the proof that can finally bring down Peter Fleming. Check out the accompanying video footage that a trusted source brought to me and that I have authenticated. It connects ARK and thus Fleming to a massive city-wide conspiracy between ARK Corporation and organized crime in Palm City.

Palm City Experiencing Dangerous Escalation in Gang Violence

Updates

February 25, 2011 5:13 PM

Fellow citizens of Palm City, as you no doubt have experienced, gang violence has reached an all-time high. Traveling on the streets of even formerly "safe" neighborhoods has become increasingly hazardous and the response time of ARK troops lags longer and longer, when they even bother to show up at all. I am working on discovering what has sparked this heightened warfare among Palm City's underworld, but given how especially dangerous it is to get around the city right now, I need your help more than ever to stay current on the latest developments. Keep your tips coming to me here at Orwell Is Watching.

The Lich Vanquished, in Custody at Owl Island

Updates

February 22, 2011 9:03 AM

Apologies for my unplanned hiatus and thanks for your concern, fellow citizens of Palm City. I'm back from a top-secret investigation that I'll be sharing more about with my faithful readers over the coming weeks. For now, I can report that the fearsome creature known as "The Lich," aka Conrad Chandler, the long lost heir of Palm City's founding family, has been vanquished. He will no longer be able to terrorize Palm City, as he is now a long-term guest in the confines of Owl Island. His mere existence, however, will serve to block Peter Fleming's bid to take over Palm City's ports, which is something all citizens of Palm City can celebrate.

Dangerous Cult Invades Palm City

Updates

February 21, 2011 9:00 AM

I'm continuing my search for Orwell, but in the meantime, I want to help carry on Orwell's mission. I have a warning for everyone in Palm City. There have been some strange and dangerous characters roving Palm City recently, mostly in Trolley Park and The Boroughs. These people are pale with extremely red, bloodshot eyes. They look haggard and skinny, as though they haven't slept or eaten in weeks. If they seem like they're on something, that's because they probably are, which is evident from a distinctive, vacant look they have in their eyes. These people tend to gather in clusters and target loners and outcasts - basically anyone by themselves. There have been reports of people disappearing from rave clubs, movie theaters and a number of coffee houses.

I believe some kind of cult has moved into Palm City and any contact with them could put you in danger. Make sure not to travel anywhere alone if at all possible, and if you see anyone acting suspiciously, DO NOT approach them. Be particularly wary if you hear anyone muttering, "The dead will rise." Just keep your distance, and submit your tips on the time and location of any sightings of these individuals to me here at Orwell's site.

Orwell Still Missing, Last Known to Be Pursuing Missing Chandler Heir

Updates

February 18, 2011 11:44 AM

Orwell is still missing, and I'm convinced that this disappearing act is not something Orwell planned or chose. I'm sure that regular readers of this blog are on the same page as me - Orwell would never just abandon the mission of exposing corruption in Palm City without explanation. As time passes and the radio silence continues, I'm very concerned that something has happened to Orwell. In the last contact I received, Orwell was following up on a lead involving the alleged existence of a Chandler heir. If you have any information about this heir or about Orwell, please send it to me here.

Orwell MIA

Updates

February 16, 2011 3:38 PM

Orwell needs your help. I'm a friend of Orwell's and we're always in regular contact. I haven't seen or heard from Orwell in a number of days, nor has anyone else who regularly interacts with Orwell. I'm very concerned for the well being of Palm City's best investigative blogger. If you have any information about Orwell's whereabouts, please contact me here at Orwell Is Watching ASAP.

Empty Graves Cause Alarm

Updates

February 14, 2011 10:48 AM

I have received reports from several sources about an incredibly disturbing development: empty graves have been discovered in multiple cemeteries around Palm City. Very little information is known about the method or the motive at this point. Grave robbing does not seem to be the impetus, as at least two of the empty coffins still contained valuables that had been placed with the deceased individual, according to family members of those missing. The only connection that has thus far been drawn is that all of the empty graves belonged to young people who passed away suddenly within the last month. Until we get to the bottom of this, no one in Palm City will be safe from whatever sick individual is pilfering corpses. If you have any information about any unusual occurrences over the last few weeks, even if it doesn't seem directly related to the empty graves, please contact me immediately.

Peter Fleming Must Be Stopped

Updates

February 11, 2011 5:21 PM

Peter Fleming has crossed yet another line in his quest to take over Palm City. Fleming's latest move, a bid to buy the Palm City ports, would extend his stranglehold on the city dramatically if approved by Mayor Welkins and the City Council. Should the sale go through, Fleming would control nearly all of the commercial traffic in and out of Palm City.

But Fleming isn't satisfied with the practical effects of his and ARK Corporation's wholesale takeover of Palm City's industry and municipal services. He also wants to alter the very character of Palm City and remake it in his image. The annual Founders Day Parade, coming up next week, has always been an opportunity not only to celebrate the greatness of Palm City, but also its founders, the Chandler Family. And now Fleming is planning to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to rename historic Chandler Boulevard after himself as part of that celebration. It's an insult to the proud history of Palm City and all of its longtime residents. Fellow citizens of Palm City, I encourage you to contact the Mayor's office as well as your City Councilman and urge them not to allow Fleming to continue to spread his tentacles in this way.
